Who are SARAH + SAM?









Sarah is a largely self-taught jeweller. She started creating pieces as a teenager for herself, friends + family before starting her own small business, sarahannedipity, in 2011. Sarah then studied goldsmithing at The Harbourfront Centre in Toronto and at Georgian College in the Jewellery + Metal Arts program in 2012. After years selling at the Orillia Farmers' Market, sarahannedipity operated in store form from 2017-2023 in beautiful downtown Orillia. Due to health reasons + the after effects of Covid, sadly, the business closed its doors for good in September of 2023. Sarah is so very thankful for all of the amazing support from sarahannedipity's loyal customers over the years.

In mid-2021, in an act of serendipity, Sarah met Ifeanyi (Sam) online while he was still residing in Lagos, Nigeria. He is a truly kind, patient, supportive + loving man. They fell deeply in love and began planning a future together. In May of 2023 Sam was finally able to join Sarah here in Canada + has been encouraging her + inspiring her to be as healthy + as creative as she can be. It is with his emotional support she feels confident enough to start creating + selling jewellery again, just with a more sustainable business model.

In order to better manage both her health + the costs associated with running a business, Sarah will make + sell jewellery with the help of this website + will no longer offer a storefront.

We look forward to reconnecting with the faithful sarahannedipity customers + welcoming new ones. As always, the products will be made with precious metals, genuine gemstones + will be curated + created with meaning.
